February 2009 update

Soooo..what's happening with NDSMail ?

I started working on Skinning-Support several months ago, but never got quite around to finish it (at least, it did not break anything).

Recently, I wanted to release a build with the latest version of the dswifi library, but that did not work out: the old GUI code (which was based on libfb, but with some nasty hacks added) did not work with the latest devkitpro. Debugging this would have been really painful (remember the nasty hacks?). So I decided to rewrite the GUI part. Luckily, I pretty much kept presentation and logic "almost" separate in the code, so this is not as bad as I imagined after looking at my GUI code hacks. Did I really write this crap myself?

I might blog about the technique I used to pass messages between those two layers if anyone is interested. But for now, I'm trying to build a new GUI for NDSMail, most probably by using the woopsi library, which has a really weird name, but is pretty well documented. Stay tuned...

Can you release NDSMail version 0.60's source code, please? I would like to add a way to manually input the password, rather than store it in plain text on the card.

Anonymous: WEP will work if you set it up with WiFi-Radar (I believe).

Keep up the good work!

"Make WEP connection possible"

WEP is possible, just set it up using a WiFi game.

I'm waiting for the new version. It can't connect to my special router for NDS... It's just like a router, but without a password.. It can't even find it... Can you also add a bigger RSS type support? Like pictures and movies, not only black text on a plain white background...

Hello
I'm doing a project with the NDS and I would like to use SSL for sending the data between my PC and the DS.
Can you say me what did you use to be able to use SSL on the console? A library for the DS? Thanks!

2 things:
1 - it won't connect to ap (needs static ip)

2 - can't get in on gbadev and post because of the stupid anti bot question!
