Delay & new feature idea

Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on NDSMail for the next 7 days or so.

It seems there are some problems with mini-SD flash cards (SC miniSD,M3 miniSD). This is rather strange, as they should be compatible to the SD cards. I think this is caused by the special version of the fat lib I'm using. The new libfat looks very promising, but it does not support the SC SD yet.
If I had one of the flashcards causing trouble, I could improve compatibilty ( hint hint )

a friend of mine proposed a great feature:
auto-connect:
If none of the preferred access points is found, the app will try to connect to any of the (open) access points in range. So if you are in a public area, chances are that you will find an open, non-protected access point. (Note that this may be illegal in some countries. But I know that at least in germany you are allowed to connect to any access point that is not protected).

new feature sounds very good ! also if you could have a 'leave messages on server' option for pop3 it would be good! i know u can set the option in gmail but others might not support it. great work so far :)

i am a developer and i would like to mess around with the source of your application. i will not re-distribute it, it will be for my personal use only.

Why not just use the fat library that DSOrganize uses? It is basically the Rein driver, but a bit more compatible.

because DSOrganize also destroys the FAT partition when it tries to save to the miniSD of Supercards too.

I have a SuperCard mini SD running on a DS Lite and v .47 of NDSMail is working fine. I can receive e-mail and feeds without any problems. Iam using a 1GB A-Data mini-SD card.

Sorry for asking this silly question but do I have to flash my NDS firmware to make NDSMail work ?

Because I have a supercard+superkey, and it doesn t work ( connection PB )and I think that I correctly set up my Wifi system ...

seems like chishm's fatlib is now fully working with Supercard SD. write and read support! so no need to use DS Organize's fat library

To get your Wifi working for most routers you will need to manualy enter your wifi info in the DS using and WiFi compatibile game. For some reason if you use auto search for AP it may not work with NDSMail.

Where exactly did you get this chishm's fatlib? I went to his site and it's still the old 2006-03-03 version with no write support.

thanks for the program, this seem like it'll be great, but i can't get gmail to work because the "SSL" box is uncheckable (ie nothing happens when i try and select it).

just wanted to give you a heads up (or perhaps i'm doing something wrong?)
